SAU Campus Store “The Falcons Nest” is Now Open

Sherise Williams, director of operations at The Falcons Nest , shows off one of her products.

Saint Augustine’s re-branded campus store is open for business at their permanent location on the first floor of the  MLK Building. A variety of SAU apparel is displayed for purchase in store and online.

Sherise Williams, director of operations at The Falcons Nest —and also an SAU Alumni, Class of 1998 – is excited about this new stage of the store.

“I have seen the evolution of the bookstore and it was excited to come back and kind of bring back so we can see our kids and our alumni wearing Falcon Pride,” Ms. Williams said. The new concept of the store draws sells T-shirts, sweaters, and shirts and a wide variety of other products adorned with the Falcon. It also sells snacks, school supplies and other items students can use.

Lashan Knowles, a junior biology major from The Bahamas, and Coriana Wiggins, a freshman public health major from North Carolina, appreciate the variety and prices in the store.

“I love the new store because it has a lot of stuff that we didn’t have before,” Wiggins said. “I also like that we get a 10 percent discount with our student ID.”

Knowles said the new store is “much better than the last.” She added, “I appreciate the variety that it has to offer, the selection, the fact that is always open, the staff is very friendly, and that you can also access it online.”

The store is open weekdays from 8am-5pm.  A 10 percent discount is given to students, faculty, and staff who can show a university ID.

The store highlights a weekly item with an even bigger discount.
