Juliseea Thomas of Saint Augustine’s University was named CIAA volleyball rookie of the week on Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012. She has won the award two consecutive weeks.
Thomas, a freshman setter from St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, tallied 36 assists and 12 digs in a five-set win over Winston-Salem State last Thursday. She also had 13 assists in a three-set loss to USC Aiken on Sunday. Thomas leads the Lady Falcons in assists (195) and assists per set (4.33).
