Students formed a massive line down the staircase of the MLK Ballroom for Saint Augustine’s University’s annual Thanksgiving dinner. Faculty and staff dressed in casual clothing served students and paying diners at the feast as laughs, conversation, and good times were shared among all.
The occasion was marked by holiday-themed décor — which got a lot of comments from the student body — as well as the smiles on the faces of the serving faculty; all were seemingly pleased to be loading plates and sharing holiday cheer.
Student Morgan Bray appreciated the service. “This is one event during the year that gives students a chance to see that we the students are truly appreciated,” Bray said. “I am looking forward to next year.”
