The Saint Augustine’s University Community Development Corporation held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday, March 22, for a recently completed duplex unit at 307 Heck Street in downtown Raleigh. The Heck Street unit is part of a project funded by a $2.1 million Neighborhood Stabilization Program grant the University received from the N.C. Department of Commerce, Division of Community Assistance.
The Heck Street duplex features two 930-square-foot residential spaces, each with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The units will be rented to low and moderate income families.
