Raleigh, N.C. – After sweeping the CIAA Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships, the Falcons maintain their No. 1 ranking in the men’s and No. 3 ranking in the women’s division of the NCAA Division ll for second straight week!

Samantha Woodburn, who ranked No.4 in the 200-Meter Dash and No. 6 in the 400-Meter dash, has full confidence in the track team for the rest of the season. “After winning another CIAA Championship, and this being my first time winning one with the team, I am very confident we can take it to the next level and compete with some of the best,” Woodburn said.

The men and lady Falcons have just five more competitions, including Liberty Twilight on May 1 and Aggie Last Chance May 10. “We are not going to slow down just because we accomplished another one of our goals by winning another CIAA championship,” Woodburn said. “We are going to keep striving so we can be great.”
