One of the highlights of the year for many is the CIAA Tournament, and it’s here – from Feb. 25 to March 2 in Charlotte. Eight schools will compete for the 2019 basketball championship, with lots of other fun activities in between. The first round for the men’s and women’s basketball team will be Feb. 25 in Bojangles’ Coliseum. ll be held on March 2 – the women’s at 1 p.m. and men’s following a 4:20 p.m. Tickets range from $20 for one game at the beginning of the week to $485 for courtside seats for all the games.
If the prices are too high for you, the CIAA Tournament has way more things to do. There will be a Cheer Exhibition at 9 a.m. on March 2 in the Bojangles’ Convention Center, where CIAA cheer teams will show off their talents. There will also be different parties in the EpiCenter in downtown Charlotte from 12pm to 8pm. There will also be a career expo for students and others on Feb. 28 from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. As you think about whether to go, keep in mind that he tournament will not be in North Carolina much longer.
