The Falcons Nest

Since the SAU bookstore reopened as the Falcon’s Nest in January, it has greatly expanded its selection of clothing, food and other merchandise.

My experience has been amazing,” said Shareese Williams, director of operations at The Falcons Nest —and also an SAU Alumni, Class of 1998. “I enjoy working with the students.”

The bookstore has a lot of new merchandise for sale including new hats, new apparel for the Falcon parents such as T-Shirts identifying the wearers as a “Falcon Dad” or “Falcon Mom.”

Every Falcon student and staff workers get 10% discount by only showing their Falcon I.D. This is very beneficial to students because as college students school apparel is something that shouldn’t be hard to get because of the price.

Nyshanti Greene, a junior biology major, was browsing in the bookstore recently looking for nothing in particular. “This bookstore is a place where I can come and just forget about all the work I have to do,” she said. “I come in here to get apparel and to have a good time with people who bring nothing but positive vibes in my life.”

The bookstore is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
