RALEIGH, N.C. (March 19) – Standout linebacker Durrell Nash (Chicago, IL) of Saint Augustine’s University (SAU) was on television Wednesday night, March 18.
A segment about Nash aired on the Fox 50 (WRAZ) and WRAL-TV5 newscasts. Nash was among 51 athletes invited to the first-ever HBCU Combine hosted by the NFL, but the combine was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The combine, which was set for March 27-28 in South Florida, would have provided exposure for draft-eligible players aspiring to play professional football.
Nash gives his thoughts about the HBCU Combine and the coronavirus in his interview with sports anchor/reporter Chris Lea of WRAL.
