SPRING FLING 2021!

Every college student’s favorite time of the year is Spring Break but many colleges, including Saint Augustine’s University, didn’t have a spring break this year because of the extended holiday in December due to the pandemic. But, this month, we have the next best thing — Spring Fling.

Spring Fling will start on April 12 and end on April 16. Because students didn’t have a spring break, the event is extra special this year, some students say.

“I’m just looking forward to the event on Saturday becaus, if it’s what I think it’s going to be, I’m overdue for a good time,” said Biana Gray, a junior.

“I already have my outfits picked out.” said sophomore Jayden Smith.

Students are also anticipating the event more because this will be Saint Augustine’s University’s first Spring Fling under the new director of student engagement Jalen Baker, who has promised to spice things up.

Listed below is the Spring Fling schedule.

Falcon ‘N Out, Monday. April 12, 7 p.m.

Lip Sync Battle –Tuesday, April 13, 7 p.m.

Students will go on stage in Seby Jones Auditorium as a solo or group and perform different songs.

Falcon Fest on the Lawn, Saturday, April 17, at 7 p.m.

This is a brand-new event that orgnizers have not released a lot of information about. “You’ll just have to be there to see,” is all they have said.
