RALEIGH, NC (Sept. 11) – Saint Augustine’s University (SAU) placed third in the men’s 8K race at the Blue Bear Cross Country Invitational on Friday, Sept. 9, at Salisbury Community Park.
Fayetteville State won the men’s race with 27 points followed by Livingstone with 43 points. SAU placed third with 65 points and Winston-Salem State was fourth with 85 points.
Individually, Robert Edwards Jr. (Sr./Pembroke, Bermuda) of SAU was third with a time of 28:19.1. The Fayetteville State tandem of Hillary Toroith (25.41.9) and Derrick Kipchumba (26:20.2) was first and second, respectively.
