The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) is steeped in proud African American traditions dating back over a century. As the famed CIAA Basketball Tournament returns to Baltimore, Maryland from Feb. 26th through March 3rd, so too does its time-honored royalty contest: Mr. and Miss CIAA.
Since its inception in 1987, the pageant has celebrated the incredible scholars, leaders and role models emerging from Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Contestants proudly represent their schools, while exemplifying excellence in education, community impact, and promoting the empowerment of African American students.
The 2024 Mr. and Miss CIAA contestants are standing on the shoulders of giants – and you can support Mr. SAU, Keenan Lowndes, and Miss SAU, Ashley Weekes, by voting until February 29th.
